The Peter Yealands Story

Kiwi entrepreneur and fifth generation Marlburian, Peter Yealands, comes with an ambitious determination that is legendary. He has always taken the road less travelled. A highly successful pioneer of the New Zealand mussel and deer farming industries, in 2002 Peter embarked upon sculpting the rolling terroir of the vast Yealands Seaview Vineyard from the controls of his digger. A herculean task and within six years the vines were thriving.

Admiring his ‘visionary tenacity’ and global leadership in sustainability innovation, Peter was awarded the coveted 2013 Lincoln University Foundation ‘South Island Farmer of the Year’ award and other international accolades have followed.
